Three fields control where commissions go and how your plan syncs to BenefitPoint. Get them right, and your push succeeds.
This is the insurance company that actually issued the plan. It comes from your BenefitPoint account and must be selected.
Paid-By Type and Paid-By Company tell the system who pays your commission. Usually it's the same carrier, but not always.
A third-party administrator or other entity might handle commission payments instead of the carrier. These fields let you account for that.
These fields only affect BenefitPoint sync and commission tracking—not how the plan looks or works inside the product.
